Dr. Berta Ponsati obtained her BSc in Chemistry, MSc on SPPS of oligonucelotides, and PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Universitat de Barcelona. Most of her postdoctoral research has focused on Peptide Chemistry at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and at the Centro de Biologia Molecular in Madrid. She has held several managerial positions in industry as head of the Peptide Synthesis Department in Lipotec S.A., CEO at BCN-Peptides S.A., and at GP-Pharm S.A. She is behind GP Pharm’s continuous international expansion, contract manufacturing growth and market consolidation in Spain and elsewhere, in addition to continuous predoc and post doc research supervision.
